Mission Trace Water Plant Maintenance
On April 2, 2019, the City of St. Marys will shut down the City’s Water Plant on Colerain Road, known as Mission Trace Water Plant, for scheduled maintenance of the Elevated Water Tank. Due to this water plant shut down, some residents and businesses may experience a lower than normal water pressure and possibly some water discoloration.
The discoloration is caused by either air in the system or delaminating of scale buildup in the lines, such as calcium, iron and/or manganese, and is not cause for alarm. If you experience either of the above mentioned conditions, please contact the Public Works office at 912-882-4415, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. After hours, please contact the Camden County non-emergency line at 912-729-1442.
The duration of this phase of the renovation project is expected to take approximately 2-3 days. Thank you for your patience during this process.
