Nancy Stasinis

Council member Nancy Stasinis has assisted and served her community in various ways over the years.  A few examples include several terms as a Director of the Chamber of Commerce as well as a term as Chairman.  She was charter Vice-President of the Kings Bay Rotary Club, president of the local Board Realtors for three terms and assisted in founding Missions for Camden.  Council member Nancy Stasinis has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and has earned many designations related to her career in real estate.  She has also taken several government related courses through the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA).  She has been the broker/owner of ERA Kings Bay Realty for twenty three years.  Prior to her election to the St. Marys City Council she served on the Kingsland City Council for six years and served as Mayor Pro-Tem of Kingsland for one year. 

Council member Stasinis enjoys living in St. Marys because of the small town atmosphere which allows the opportunity to get to know many people in different walks of life on a very personal level.  Council member Stasinis’ favorite view is the sunrises and sunsets over the marshes along the St. Marys River.  Council member Stasinis favorite quote is by Wilfred Peterson, “The best leaders are often the best listeners.  They have an open mind.  They are not interested in having their own way but in finding the best way”.
