The City of St. Marys is 15.3 square miles and has 114 miles of streets, 129 miles of stormwater pipes/ditches/canals and 22 miles of sidewalks. The Public Works Department is responsible for the repair and maintenance of city vehicles and equipment, maintaining the city's right's of way, streets, drainage, sidewalks, grounds and buildings, water, wastewater, plan review, contract administration, inspections, traffic signals and signage. Public Works has staff on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, if a problem should arise outside of our normal business hours please call the Camden County 9-1-1 Center's non-emergency number at (912) 729-1442 and they will contact the on-call employee for you.
