Can I bring in a cooler?
Sorry, coolers and other food items are not allowed to be brought into the Aquatic Center. Our food service sells a wide variety of hot food, snacks, ice cream, and beverages.
Can my kids ride all the slides?
The orange slide is restricted to those over 48 inches tall only. To prevent injury all slides are single riders only. Children may not ride in parents lap. The children’s play area is open to all ages.
Can I wear shorts?
Our dress code is: no cut-off shorts, jean shorts or any other type of shorts that has buckles, rivets, zippers, etc. These will scratch our slide surface. Proper swimwear is required- no thong suits, see through suits, non family friendly images, obscene language or suggestive apparel. Shorts must cover any undergarments.
Can I leave the park and come back later in the day?
Daily admission fees are good for the entire day unless the park closes for bad weather. You may receive a hand stamp at the gate and return later.
If it rains, do I get my money back?
We issue rainchecks for all paid receipts to return another day during the season. The rain policy states that if the park is closed for a continuous hour due to bad weather, we will issue the rain checks. If the weather clears within the hour, the park will remain open for the remainder of the day.
Can I drop my children off and pick them up later?
Children under 10 must have a parent or responsible guardian with them while they are at the park. Adults must be with their small children at all times in the Park. NON-SWIMMIMG Spectators in street clothes may pay a reduced fee.
When can I buy a season pass?
Season pass forms are available on this website or you may call us at (912) 673-8118. There are reduced rates for City residents with proof of residency (water bill). The season pass is a picture ID and is non-transferable.
Can we reserve a party at the Aquatic Center?
We have a variety of party packages including Birthday Parties, full park rentals, and group rates. Party reservations are made on a first pay basis and forms are available on this website or they can be picked up at the office.
Are there Lifeguards at the Aquatic Center?
We employ a full staff of American Red Cross certified lifeguards who are scheduled for each attraction at all times of operation. Although we are fully staffed, you have informed knowledge of your childs ability, we encourage parents to watch out for their own children at all times. Rules are posted at each water attraction and will be consistently enforced.
Why do my babies have to wear a Swim Diaper?
Swim Diapers are designed to reduce the chances of deadly bacteria being released into pools by infants and toddlers. Note: Wearing a swim diaper does not exempt parents from making sure that the children get frequent bathroom breaks and that the diapers are checked for any accidents. Disposable or cloth diapers are not allowed in any water attraction - no exceptions!
Can my children wear Swimmies?
We do allow lifejackets and swim armbands in the pool. Parents MUST be within arms length of these children –They are not allowed in the pool alone. We have complementary lifejackets available for your use.
Do I have to sit in a tube in the Lazy River?
No you are allowed to walk or swim in the direction of the river current.
